  • ART Programme – Giving ARVs to clients and managing them
  • VCT/DCT Programme – Testing TB among HIV Positive clients and HIV among TB patients
  • HIV/TB Prevention activities
  • Treatment Adherence ( Involving adherence counselors, Youth Peer Educators and Treatment Supporters
  • TB Programme (Screening, diagnosis(sputum testing using public labs and Chest X-ray from other facilities) and treatment
  • Implementing DOTS and DOT supervision
  • Running Co-infected (TB/HIV/AIDS) Support Group
  • TB Cohort analysis and reporting
  • Partial under five and antenatal clinics, we are not yet offering vaccinations for under five children, awaiting final inspection by DHMT
  • Data entry into computers and registers
  • Reporting both TB and HIV/AIDS /ART Data to DHMT through Kalingalinga clinic
  • Planning and implementation meetings including Community Leaders(NHC, NRDC) and Local Public clinics

    • Training community TB Treatment supporters,
    • Home Based Care (HBC) Care- Givers
    • Youth Peer Educators;
    • Community Counsellors
    • Sending staff for various training when organised by DHMT, CIDRZ, PHO etc

IGA (income generating activities)

  • A 10 ton truck for hiring- business difficult to come by
  • Stone crushing


  • TB/HIV/AIDS community awareness raising( drama, door to door, focus group discussions, at public places e.g markets, schools, one to one etc) and referring to clinics those who need investigations
  • TB Case finding, defaulter and contact tracing and referring to clinics for further management
  • Household treatment(DOT) supervision (TB treatment and ART)
  • Household and emotional support to TB/HIV/AIDS clients;
  • Community meetings with stakeholders e.g Volunteers,various community leaders
